Do you have a story of resilience—

a moment when you faced something difficult and discovered a strength you didn’t know you had?

I understand that journey. After becoming a mum, I struggled with my mental health. It was hard to admit I wasn’t okay, but with support, I was diagnosed with bipolar and C-PTSD. It was a tough road, but one thing made all the difference—the incredible women who stood by me, lifted me up, and reminded me of my strength.

In 2025, I created an exhibition to honour stories like these.

If She Spoke: Stories of Struggle to Strength launched on 15–16 November 2025 at the Brisbane Showgrounds, bringing together 27 large-scale paintings—some reaching up to 2 metres tall—and more than 50 powerful stories from women across Australia. The exhibition celebrated women’s challenges, resilience, and power, amplifying voices that deserve to be heard.

The project gained incredible momentum.

It was featured on West Bremer Radio, introduced through a mini launch at Creative Hearts Co. at Springfield Gallery, highlighted in the Courier Mail just days before opening, and I was invited to speak on River 949 to share the heart behind the exhibition.

Every story submitted was included in the show, even if it wasn’t painted. My intention was simple: to ensure every woman’s voice was acknowledged, valued, and celebrated.

And this is just the beginning.

If She Spoke is now expanding.

The exhibition will be touring Melbourne and returning to Brisbane in 2026, continuing its mission to elevate women’s stories and create spaces of connection, healing, and empowerment.
